The InTowner provides neighborhood news and information to our readers in Adams Morgan, Mt. Pleasant and Columbia Heights; Dupont, Scott, Thomas and Logan Circles; Dupont East, U Street, Shaw; Mt Vernon Square, Pennsylvania Quarter.
Publication is on the second Friday of each month. 30,000 copies are distributed from from close to 500 commercial, retail, service and professional locations, including nearly 100 major apartment buildings.
Current issues remain in circulation throughout the month and are seen by approximately 100,000 persons (based on a projected readers per copy factor of three to one). Having been established in 1968, we are now one of the oldest community newspapers published in the District of Columbia.
As the only local newspaper specifically concentrating on news coverage for our area of the city, The InTowner is considered by over three-quarters of its readers to be both a comprehensive source of neighborhood news and activities information as well as an important source for finding goods and services.
