Clifton, 1300 blk.: man robbed of jacket by another who brandished an unidentified weapon [3:30pm, Sat., 1/28]

Columbia, 700 blk.: 2 persons accosted from behind by man who staed he had a gun & demanded cash, one of whom complied but the other person refused to hand over purse, whereupon the man grabbed it, a struggle ensued & person was pushed to the ground & the purse also stolen [2:30am, Sat., 1/1]

Columbia, 1600 blk.: man approached by 3 others, one of whom yelled at him while brandishing a knife, whereupon man started running & shouting for help causing the would-be robbers to flee from the scene [2:15am, Sun., 1/2]

Conn., 1300 blk.: woman who had just walked past 2 men who smiled at her then approached by them from behind, one of whom attempted to snatch her cellphone but failed & both fled the scene [ 5pm, Mon., 1/3]

Irving, 1000 blk.: woman accosted by man who demanded her bag which she then threw down on the sidewalk, whereupon he fled without the bag [9:15pm, Sat., 1/8]

Irving, 1200 blk.: woman accosted by group of young men & women (reportedly teenage) who pulled on her hair & robbed her of purse [12:30am, Sun., 1/23]

Keefer, 600 blk.: man sitting in his car robbed of cellphone by 2 others who approached, one of whom first asked to use it & then the other threatening harm [2pm, Sun., 1/23]

Sherman, 2800 blk.: 2 persons accosted by a man wielding a knife who had gotten out of a passing car & who demanded their property causing one flee while the other dropped her purse on the ground which the man took [6pm, Fri., 1/7]

Twining (Ct.), 2100 blk.: man who had been playing pool with 3 others at a bar robbed of wallet at gunpoint by one of them who had followed him into the restroom [9:30pm, Mon., 1/3]

U & Vermont: man who was starting to enter restaurant grabbed from behind by another who claimed to have a gun & demanded cash, whereupon, restaurant security guard who saw what was happening yelled & chased the would-be robber [9:45pm, Fri., 1/28] (case closed with arrest)

Upshur, 200 blk.: man assaulted & robbed by 2 young men (reportedly teenage) [4:15pm, Sun., 1/16]

W, 1300 blk.: man robbed at gunpoint of cash & cellphone by 2 others who had followed him [2:30am, Sat., 1/29]

3rd, 1900 blk.: man’s property snatched from his hand by another, whereupon he offered to give him cash in return for the snatched property & the man agreed so they proceeded to an ATM and cash was exchanged for the property [ 3:15am, Sun., 1/9]

5th & M: man robbed at gunpoint by 2 men wearing masks [7pm, Sun., 1/9]

9th & T: man robbed of cellphone by 4 young men (reportedly teenage) [2:30am,  Fri., 1/21]

9th & U: person accosted by man who indicated he had a weapon, whereupon person fled & was able to find an MPD officer who gave chase [10:15pm, Fri., 1/28 (case closed with arrest)

11th, 2100 blk.: woman who was passing 2 men told by one of them to drop her purse, which she did & then fled [12:15am, Fri., 1/28]

11th, 2800 blk.: woman foiled attempt by man who tried to grab her bag of groceries from her by shouting for help [7:45pm, Sat., 1/8]

13th & Lamont: 2 persons robbed at gunpoint by 3 men who had been following them [7pm, Sun., 1/31]

13th & Park: man accosted from behind by 2 young men (reportedly teenage) who assaulted him with a wood stick, whereupon the man grabbed the stick & chased after them until they fled [7:15pm, Sat., 1/8]
