12th & U: 2 persons walking to their car accosted by 2 men brandishing a gun intending to rob them but fled when they saw a police car passing by [3am, Mon., 3/1]

13th & Corcoran: woman’s purse snatched by man later found at 13th & R Sts. but with cash missing [3:15pm, Sat., 2/27]

14th & S: 2 persons assaulted & robbed as they were getting into their car by 2 young men brandishing guns (case closed with arrest of both the 17 & 20-year-old men & property recovered) [3:15am, Sun., 3/14]

14th, 1500 blk.: woman who was working on her laptop inside café had it grabbed off the table by 19-ear-old man who, when stopped by other customers, tossed it to an accomplice who ran off into an alley (19-year-old arrested & computer found abandoned in alley) [6:30pm, Thu., 3/4]

14th, 1800 blk.: man getting out of his car accosted by young man (reportedly teenage) demanding cash who then threw a bottle at him & brandished a knife when he refused, whereupon the man he was attempting to rob retaliated by throwing a rock at him, following which the young man fled [8:30pm, Mon., 2/22]

15th & S: man accosted by another brandishing a knife with the intent to rob him, whereupon the man ran out into the street yelling at passing drivers to call the police while continuing to be chased by the man with the knife until he gave up the chase [2:30am, Sat., 3/13]

17th & P: woman accosted by 3 person, one of whom snatched her purse & when confronted by the woman then removed her wallet, dropped the purse on the ground, following which all 3 walked away (case closed with arrest of a 2 boys, 15 and 18 years-old) [ 7:45pm, Sun., 3/14]
